Meet the Team - Rose Kuru

Today we welcome Rose as our newest team member. Rose has joined us as a Sustainability Analyst, funded by a Callaghan Innovation Career Development Grant.

Rose has this to say:

“My name is Rose Kuru, and I am excited to join Hazard Evaluation Ltd as a Postgraduate Researcher. With a background in Biotechnology and Environmental Science, I am eager to gain insight into how this company is incorporating chemical management and sustainable practices to tackle environmental issues.

My academic journey and practical experience have provided me with a foundation in environmental science and research methodologies. I am interested in examining the intersection of chemical management and sustainability, and understanding the risks to both long-term ecological balance and human health. Outside of professional and academic pursuits, I enjoy hiking, recently taking up running, and have a keen interest in reading, skiing and netball.

I am enthusiastic about joining the team at Hazard Evaluation Ltd to support the mission of delivering up-to-date information to improving chemical management practices and advocating for cleaner, safer chemical utilisation.”
