I met Kate, the CEO & Founder of HazEL in 2021 at an Angel Association Founder & Investors conference.

I was immediately impressed with her enthusiasm and passion about her new venture .

With my Insurance and Risk Management background I wanted to discuss the opportunities in this market further. I quickly identified a niche market for HazEL as a Risk Management tool for the world wide Insurance and Risk management community, both  insured and non-insured risks.

This has been proven successful with the acceptance of HazEL by International Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers in the London market, particularly for environmental liability exposures.

My personal interest in HazEL is helping Kate build a successful business which is going help reduce the environmental risk of every day products for all communities.

I have an interest in travel, wine and sport, and for fun I have chased gorillas up the Mountains of Rwanda and bungee jumped off the Zambezi Bridge .
