Indoor Contaminants

This month I’ve been considering new and innovative ways to use our SaaS tool, and reading this article by Mark Taylor and Gabrielle Filippelli has got me thinking about chemicals that are around us all the time. I was particularly drawn to the quote

Add in cancer-causing toxins from asphalt road residue and endocrine-disrupting lawn chemicals, and you might view the filth on your shoes in a new light.

We have used GHS classifications and endpoint data to identify carcinogenic chemicals and endocrine disrupters, so if a user wanted to know what to use on lawns that was less harmful to human health, the tool would generate a list of options.

I see an expanding range of potential uses, so the development roadmap is looking long and exciting.
